Strange New Worlds consisted of three core members: Luke Palmer, on keyboards (elec piano, synths); Eric Hoaglund (drums & percussion); and Evan Cantor (bass guitars and sometimes other things...). The "Fourth World", our favorite collaborator was Nolan McFadden on electric guitar. SNW pursued pure improv, never planning, never practicing, never playing the same thing twice, always starting from absolute scratch, even in scheduled live performances. It was a helluva ride!

From 2007 through 2008, Strange New Worlds explored pure improv, never playing the same thing twice, nor planning what to play. Even at their numerous live performances, SNW pursued a narcotic improvisation entirely in the moment, a spontaneous juggernaut of sound.
